Once again I’m posting Sunday coffee a day late. I think I have another good excuse though – my beloved Keurig has died! I’ve been getting the “descale” warning for awhile despite descaling with vinegar. And now it only occasionally brews. I think it’s finally kicked the bucket. I know they are good about replacing it, but this is around 8 years old. I’m pretty sure that’s past its expiration date.
So now the question is, do I get a new one? I love the speed and convenience. I use a reusable filter basket with my own coffee so it doesn’t feel wasteful. I have not had luck with French presses. And it doesn’t make sense to use my regular coffee maker for just me as I’m headed out the door.
