You are here: Home / Food / Recipes / 8 Sinfully Delicious Chocolate Recipes

Seems like everyone is looking for recipes with chocolate this time of year, so I decided to check the archives to see what I've made. Would you believe I only made 8 recipes that I blogged that have chocolate?

Seems like everyone is looking for recipes with chocolate this time of year, so I decided to check the archives to see what I’ve made. Would you believe I only made 8 recipes that I blogged that have chocolate?

  1. American Hot Cocoa (perfect after an afternoon of cross country skiing!)
  2. Pumpkin Chocolate Cheesecake (sounds weird, but the combination is actually quite good)
  3. Hazelnut Coffee Brownies (two of my favorite flavors – coffee and chocolate!)
  4. Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies (chocolate chip cookies of any kind, who can complain?)
  5. Zucchini Brownies (you DID grate and freeze your excess zucchini last summer for just this purpose, right?)
  6. Secret Chocolate Cake (the secret is beets. or zucchini. shhh!)
  7. No Bakes & Pecan Sandies: A Perfect Pair of Cookie Recipes! (who doesn’t love a good no bake? Plus it’s egg free!)
  8. Cinnamon Chocolate Scones (I posted these on Monday. Trust me, they were delicious. Especially the glaze, which I may or may not have made a double batch of.)

What is YOUR favorite chocolate recipe? Please link to yours in the comments, or just tell us what it is.

I make an almost flourless chocolate cake that is SO yummy! Also…a decadent chocolate pudding/pie…I think it is Pioneer Woman’s recipe. So truly delish, it is like eating a bowl of chocolate truffles.

Read the start of your post on Naturally Local Michigan, saw “Pumpkin Chocolate”; knowing your dedication to “Simply in Season,” I was sure where you were headed. I’m in total agreement that the combination works beautifully! Definitely one of my favorite recipes from the book. (Pumpkin dessert dip is another delightful surprise. A “healthy-ish” dessert choice to start with, when we did it for the magazine (Oct-Nov 2009) our designer made it with homemade yogurt cheese – better yet.)
