Normally I prefer to avoid paper plates as it's more "green" to use real. However, I'm realistic enough to know that for things like potlucks and larger family gatherings it's not very practical to use real dishes. So I agreed to review the new tableware collection by Waverly and Hefty.
I have been eating banket ever since I was a little girl; it just isn't Christmas without a stick of the almond-filled pastry. Since the area where I grew up is heavily populated with Dutch immigrants, it wasn't until later in life that I discovered that there are people who have no idea what banket is!

Limitless Ingredients, No Time. More than 90 recipes so delicious you'll want to toss your takeout menus has lots of useful info, even if it was written by a blogger ;-)
Over the weekend we had a potluck at our friend's house, and as you might imagine the food was AWESOME. I especially liked these cookies by my BFF Christina. Her daughter has egg allergies, so these are an especially welcome treat for her.
