BLT Wraps, and What Makes a Recipe?

I am so spoiled. DH made dinner last night: BLT wraps, grilled peaches, and bacon-wrapped mozzarella sticks.

I am so spoiled. DH made dinner last night: BLT wraps, grilled peaches, and bacon-wrapped mozzarella sticks.

Which made me wonder, what makes a recipe blog-worthy? What makes a recipe a recipe? I know, deep questions. For example, is this BLT wrap a recipe? It’s really quite simple.

Fry up some bacon and wrap in a tortilla along with some fresh greens, a thick piece of cheese, and either sliced tomato or homemade salsa.

Super tasty, super quick.

As I finish up the recipes from Simply in Season and start to branch out on my own, I wonder what you want to see. Recipes like this, which I wonder if they’re even recipes? Although, I suppose we can all use more ideas, even if they are not rocket science ideas. Hmmmm.

As an upcoming author of a “Sandwich Cookbook” yes this is a recipe. Agree with Prerna. Very sweet of him!

Thanks Alison – I was actually thinking of you 🙂 I’m sometimes not sure what is so common it’s not worth putting up and what would be interesting to others. And yes, I do have a sweet husband.
