Recipes

Most of my recipes are fast and feature local ingredients. You’ll also find nearly all the recipes from Simply in Season.

On Sundays I normally participate in the Sunday Supper blogging event where a number of bloggers post recipes on a specific theme. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to find new recipes.

Onion Tart for #SundaySupper

October 23, 2016 by Wendy Hammond

This week’s Sunday Supper theme is in honor of National Pizza Month. My idea of “pizza” has expanded exponentially over the years, to include items like this savory onion tart. When DH went hunting, I decided that I wanted to make something with squash. Nothing fussy, preferably something I could use as a main dish (for myself, and I don't mind vegetarian). Rachel Ray to the rescue!
