How Does My Garden Grow? 6/20

You are here: Home / Other / gardening / How Does My Garden Grow? 6/20
June 20, 2010 by Wendy Hammond
My lettuce has bolted. I hacked it off in the hopes it would grow back. We'll see!
My peas are starting to develop little white flowers.
Cherry tomatoes are developing on the plant I got from the greenhouse.
Also on the other tomato plants I bought from my CSA.
Aren't these teeny tiny peppers cute?
And the rest of the plants are coming along.

I also planted some cilantro today in some leftover space. Hopefully I’ll have better luck now that I know it bolts quickly.

Wow–your vegetable garden looks great! Well done. My garden is mostly planted, but the weather has been cool in Southwest Washington state, and thus the plants are not as far along as yours are. But we are supposedly moving into some warmer weather this week, which will help!

My tomatoes are just starting to bloom, so hopefully in another week they will catch up with yours. Stoppin by from TGP.

Yeah, with the weather in the NW, i’ve got big, happy tomatoes after keeping them covered, but am just seeing flowers in the last week. Probably won’t get ripe ones until the end of July. I know I won’t be able to wait that long, so I’ll have to break down and buy some. 🙂

Thanks for sharing your progress at the Tuesday Garden Party!

Great garden! We have some swiss chard and carrots and lots of flowers. We’ll have corn and sunflowers soon! The oldest (6yo) has been fascinated with her little garden this year!

Cherry tomatoes are really cute in gardens. Actually, I am planting seedlings this weekend and probably next few months I will be able to use these cherry tomatoes for my recipes! Thanks for sharing photos of your cute garden.
