J Drizzle Gourmet Popcorn Review

You are here: Home / Reviews & Giveaways / review / J Drizzle Gourmet Popcorn Review
January 22, 2012 by Wendy Hammond

J Drizzle Gourmet Popcorn is a new business that offers a variety of unique flavored popcorns. Read all about it here!

Recently a friend said to me, “you can make anything you want to, but you can’t make everything you want to.” I think that many of us fall into the trap of thinking we HAVE to make everything ourselves, from scratch, or we feel guilty.

And so, although I love the idea of making flavored popcorn myself, I know I will never actually get around to it. So when J Drizzle asked me to review their popcorn, I obliged. It seems like the perfect treat or gift idea. They are a small, new up and coming company that specializes in unique flavors. I was able to sample the Dark Chocolate Chile, Cinnamon Toast, and Bacon & Cheddar.

Dark Chocolate Chile Gourmet Popcorn

My favorite by far was the Dark Chocolate Chile. It had just the right amount of heat, and the dark chocolate was delicious. I was also surprised at how fresh it tasted. Definitely better than popcorn out of a giant tin! J Drizzle actually dates its bags so you know how fresh it is.

Cinnamon Toast Gourmet Popcorn

My second favorite was the Cinnamon Toast. I actually ate it for breakfast one morning, it was that good! Again, the flavor isn’t fake or overpowering. Just right with a cup of coffee.

Bacon & Cheddar Gourmet Popcorn

Honestly, the Bacon & Cheddar was not my favorite. I found it way too bacon-y. However, my husband, who can never have too much bacon, claimed this bag for his own.

For more fun flavor combos, visit J Drizzle’s website. Prices average $10 per resealable bag, and they offer a military discount.

Uh, yeah…anything with chocolate and heat would be my favorite, too! I love a dark chocolate bar with chili heat!

Thank you for sharing J. Drizzle. I’ll keep their website in my file for a great gift for someone or a treat for my family. All the flavors sound great.
