Lily Cup Compact {Review}

You are here: Home / Health & Fitness / Lily Cup Compact {Review}

OS_Lily_Cup_Compact_A_collapse_72You’d be surprised by the number of products I’m asked to review. I’m not even that big of a blogger. Usually it’s for crazy things (like cannabis chewing gum . . . um, OK). But when I saw this press release for Lily Cup Compact, I was all like, “Yes please!”

I have been a user of the “other” cup for years. It took me awhile to get used to the idea. I started hearing about menstrual cups on the “crunchy” forums and was initially grossed out. But, I also hated tampons and pads. Especially when traveling. Especially especially when traveling overseas where clean bathrooms are few and far between and the trash cans nonexistent. I thought about it for a few months until I found myself on a business trip without any supplies and near a Whole Foods. So I headed over to Whole Foods and bought my first cup. It was love at first use. Set it and forget it for 12 hours! Wash it out in the shower!

I wish I had tried it sooner. It was great for travel, because instead of packing a plastic package or box I just tossed a small fabric pouch in my suitcase. No more running down to the hotel front desk hoping there was a “gift shop.”

Then I discovered the Lily Cup Compact. Oh my word, I love that it collapses into an even smaller little compact! Saves even more room in my suitcase and medicine cabinet! Plus I like how it seems to fit my body better. The material is more thin and supple, and I have had no issues with leaks whatsoever. It is more comfortable than the other cup I’ve been using. And, it really does collapse into a nice little package.

It would make a great Christmas gift for yourself. And, although Intimina sent me a free product to review, they did not pay me to say that!
