Once again it’s time to look through the archives, this time for apple recipes. While I do love a honeycrisp on its own, there are so many versatile uses for apples. Here are some of my favorite apple recipes:

I just did a review of the local LaFayette Apple Festival, and traced some of my favorite festival foods back to the recipes on the NY Apple Country website. Their apple salsa and apple-cheddar-walnut biscuits are my two current favorites. Apple biscuits with either apple butter or plum jam are the best. Apples in the salsa recipe jump-start salsa in a whole new direction. And I think maybe my next favorite is the basic baked apple with a simple cinnamon-vanilla sauce.
