chardOne of my most popular posts is 10 Unique Thanskgiving Side Dishes. Since it was written three years ago, I thought I would take this opportunity to comb through the archives to find even more Thanksgiving Side Dishes in honor of today’s theme of Side Dishes in the 7 Days of Homemade Thanksgiving Recipes.

1. Sweet and Sour Swiss Chard. It’s not Thanksgiving without the greens!

2. Hot German Green Bean Salad. It’s not the traditional green bean salad, but it’s still yummy.

3. Roasted Parsnips with Balsamic Vinegar and Rosemary. Parsnips are one of my favorite vegetables.

4. Brussels Sprouts with Brown Butter. One of my favorite ways to have brussels sprouts – even better than covered in cheez!

5. Calico Bean Bake. This is a real crowd pleaser.

What an interesting collection. I love it when I see lists of things that I don’t find everywhere on blogs. 🙂
