cookbooks

Call me crazy, but even in this age of Pinterest and feed readers, I still look to trusty old paper cookbooks whenever I want to look something up. Here are some of the books I’d be lost without. What are some of yours? Note: Some of these are older editions, but I still use them!

I had Delia Smith’s ‘How to Cook’ back in the 90’s that I used to refer to a lot but now I always just go online. I don’t even know where my cookbooks are!

I love Betty Crocker from way back when. It was my moms and I love just having it around!

Of those, I have the new Joy of Cooking and the Flavor Bible. Rarely use the JOC but it’s worth having around for reference. The Flavor Bible is so fun, it’s great when you have an ingredient and want some inspiration for what to do with it.
