21852212732_3f70ba80ce_kThis week is the very last week of the #bosustrong challenge that has inspired me to look beyond running and start incorporating stretching, yoga and cross training. Before starting the challenge, my goal was pretty much focused on marathon training. But with my piriformis acting up and after going through the various prompts, now that we’re in the final week I plan to figure out how to add more to my workout schedule. It will make my running stronger and my body more well rounded.

This week we’re focusing on the things that make us BOSUStrong. Here are the 10 things that make me #BOSUStrong:

  • I am capable of more than I ever thought possible.
  • I will always give 100%.
  • I never downplay  my accomplishments.
  • I do what I know is right.
  • I love to spend time in nature.
  • I am inspired to life life to the fullest.
  • I love to encourage others to step outside their comfort zone and try new things.
  • I have learned to fuel my body in a healthy way.
  • I am proud of losing 110+ pounds.
  • I hope to continue on my healthy journey and do an Ironman when I’m 70.

And please, if you are using a BOSU throughout this challenge, never stand on your BOSU with the dome facing down (images or moves down on the BOSU incorrectly will not count during this challenge).
