OK so, you might have noticed that I fell a bit behind with last week’s #HolidaySweat prompts. I was doing so well, and then I flew to Memphis for a conference. The conference was a blast but long days meant exhaustion and not much time for working out other than walking everywhere.

I was also hoping to get the 20 miler in for my marathon training but my piriformis had other ideas. I am realizing how important cross training and strength training are for running! I wish I’d been keeping up on yoga or a strength routine (or even stretching, oops . . . ) but that’s in the past, I need to look forward to my marathon in three weeks and in the meantime there’s no reason I can’t start stretching and getting stronger now!
